Of course, when drawing candy colored ponies “realistic” is a pretty relative term, but I usually (try to) stay fairly close to the show animation style. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I think that experimenting is important for artistic development, and the quote inspired me to actually do it. “Chibi ponies” was just a random idea that sounded like fun, so I went with it.
