Wing Study: Rushing Down

Pegaus rushing downwards, wings mostly upward, only the primary feathers horizontal

While looking for reference pictures of flying birds, I came across a photo of an owl, which had it wings in a similar position while rapidly approaching ground. Pegasi obviously aren’t birds of prey, but rushing downwards in a precise motion should still be useful — and it’s important for making an impressive landing. I’m looking at you, Rainbow Dash!
